Our mission is to ensure our graduates integrate into the workforce with the most up-to-date skills, and expert knowledge of the highest standard, enabling them to carve out a rewarding career

Objectives

The objectives, for which the University College is founded, carried through schools, centers, faculties, department and also through the central academic bodies and central activities, are for the public benefit, to promote education of a university standard and the advancement of knowledge and learning by teaching and research; and to encourage the achievement and maintenance of the highest academic standards. Specifically, the University College is to:

  1. provide for and promote university education, learning and research
  2. receive and to disseminate knowledge and information
  3. foster relationships with other institutions of higher learning, persons and bodies

The University College therefore collaborates and cooperates with other institutions of similar nature nationally or internationally, to be current and competitive in the globalized environment. The University College particularly engages the community in which it is located as a development agent.

KAAF University College was incorporated in 2006 under the Companies Code Act 179 of 1963. However, admissions started during the 2008/2009 Academic Year with a handful of pioneering students. The school started with the establishment of the Faculty of Engineering and later a Department of Business. Within 4 years, the number had risen to nearly 1000, with the Engineering  Faculty having the larger number of students. The school currently has a student population of around 1200 and offers courses in engineering, business, law, nursing and computer science. KNUST serve as our mentor institution and for Engineering and Business, GIMPA for our Law Programme and UDS for Computer Science and Nursing.

  2. University for Development Studies (UDS): Recognizing the importance of healthcare in the nation’s development, Kaaf University has affiliated with UDS for programs in General Nursing and Midwifery. This collaboration ensures that students receive a comprehensive and reputable education in healthcare, preparing them for meaningful contributions to the field.

  3. Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA): For political science and law programs, Kaaf University has partnered with GIMPA, an institution known for its excellence in management, public administration, and law. This affiliation allows students to benefit from the expertise of GIMPA’s faculty and the comprehensive curriculum offered in these disciplines.

  4. University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS): The collaboration with UHAS underscores Kaaf University’s commitment to excellence in health and allied sciences. By affiliating with UHAS, Kaaf University ensures that its programs in health-related disciplines are aligned with industry standards and that students receive a rigorous and up-to-date education in these critical fields.
