FACULTY OF ENGINEERING
Engineering plays a critical role in enhancing social progress and improving our quality of life, and rapid and efficient access to new innovations is necessary to tackle myriad challenges. The Engineering Sciences programs educate future leaders with the technical background necessary to develop and critically evaluate the next wave of engineering innovations, to apply these innovations to important local and global problems, and to make informed decisions about them in a societal context.
Engineering Sciences encompass a vast range of subjects, from microelectronics to offshore oil platforms, and involves the application of creative reasoning, science, and mathematics to real problems.
The Faculty of Engineering here at KAAF University College is widely acclaimed for its exceptional teaching and a world-class research. Because we believe that future engineering innovation will benefit from broad foundations as well as specialized knowledge, undergraduate teaching is based on a unified course in Engineering Science, which integrates study of the subject across the traditional boundaries of engineering disciplines.
