Eva Adusei Takyi, a first-year nursing student of KAAF University College has been crowned winner at the just ended Face of KAAF Beauty Pageant 2019. The 23-years old Brong Ahafo region representative whose project was based on Empowering Women beat 7 other ladies to win the coveted crown.

The pageant saw young and vibrant ladies from 7 regions of Ghana. The theme for this year’s pageant focused on Empowering Women & Embracing Culture.
The versatile ladies were taken through various stages of grooming, development and skills acquisition throughout the competition. The event kick started on the 19th of March 2019 with auditions at the main campus of KAAF University. This was followed by photo-shoot sessions, group trip and learning curves, cooking competition and other talent discovery and empowerment projects.

The colourful grand finale which took place at the old campus of KAAF University College, Budumburam on 12th of April 2019 saw the resourceful ladies dishing out their best from traditional music and dance, catwalk, presentations to talent shows.
Contestants from seven regions of Ghana
Araba Ayebi-Asiedu, Central Regional representative won the 1st-runner-up. Her project on creating awareness on drug abuse amongst the youth was well conveyed during her performances on the night. She also had the most eloquent beauty queen award.

Tiffany Akyea, a Marketing Student whose project was based on Effective Waste Management Practices won the 2nd Runner-up. She also won other awards like Miss Catwalk, Miss Photogenic and Best gown.
