KAAF University Welcomes 2019/2020 Sandwich B.Sc. Nursing Top – Up Students
KAAF University on Thursday, June 6, officially welcomed top-up students for a degree in Nursing Programme at a brief orientation on the main campus, Gomoa Fetteh Kakraba.
This is the second batch of students enrolling for the 2-year accredited top-up programme. They were joined by the 2018/2019 batch of students who are in to complete their programme.
Interacting with the students, the rector of the university, Ing. Dr Francis Achampong encouraged each student to share their 10-year vision. The students took turns to share their awe-inspiring expectations.
Mr Aidoo, Founder, sharing his 10year expectation as well
The students who are from both public and private health institutions in both Nigeria and Ghana were expectant of reaching the peak of their careers within the next 10 years. While others have short term plans of getting some promotions before they retire soon, others also shared long term plans of attaining their Masters, Doctorate and Professorial honours within the next 10 years.
A unique trend among the expectations were students who are working hard to enter the mainstream policy-making body of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria to make more insightful policies to impact positively on the health (nursing) sector of the economy and also the desire to operate Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
