The Local Private Universities Student’s Association of Ghana (PUSAG) Secretariat of KAAF University College on Friday, February 22nd, hosted a Pre-PUSAG Game as part of the preparations towards the Annual National PUSAG Games under the theme “Sports, a Tool for Institutional Friendship Building”.
The event which started at 11:00 am with Volleyball featured sister universities like, Perez, West End and Islamic University College at the main campus of KAAF University College, Gomoa Fetteh Kakraba.
In an interview with the Local PUSAG Representatives of the various institutions, they expressed how seriously they took the games and are proud of their team’s achievements. They also reiterated the fact that it was a good grounds for them to re-access their team’s performances and train harder ahead of the main national games.
KAAF University, the host school gave the others keen competition as they struck hard to win all games hands down. Their pretty efforts yielded positive results as they emerged winners of both Volleyball and Tennisball. They also placed 3rd in football.
The Annual PUSAG Games over the years has been a strong bonding factor, which brings all Private universities together to compete in various fields of sports. Athletics, soccer, basketball, volleyball, handball, table tennis are some of the major sports disciplines which are undertaken.
The 13th Edition of the National PUSAG Games will be held at the Cape Coast Stadium in the Central Region of Ghana, from 25th to 29th of March 2019.
