BSc Midwifery

Bachelor's 4 years

The BSc Midwifery programme at KAAF University is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the theories, principles, and practical competencies that underpin contemporary midwifery practice. The programme prepares graduates to deliver holistic, woman-centred care—encompassing physical, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions—to women throughout the reproductive life cycle, as well as to newborns, families, and communities.

Through an integrated approach that combines classroom instruction, skills laboratory training, and extensive supervised clinical placements in accredited partner health facilities, students acquire the professional competence required to respond effectively to the evolving maternal and newborn health needs of diverse populations. The programme emphasises safe motherhood, evidence-based practice, and community-focused care to produce skilled, compassionate, and ethically grounded midwives.
